A very fine and most charming Italian 19th century charcoal grisaille of a winged cherub. The beautiful art work is within its original ebonized fruit wood and giltwood frame with a decorative mottled design. At the center is the wonderfully executed winged cherub sitting on architectural elements, draped in a flowing fabric amidst a rams head, satyr and handsome lion's paw.
