A charming Italian 19th century patinated Wood, Giltwood and Oil on Canvas painting of a young boy, in the manner of Alexis Grimou. This wonderful Oil on Canvas school painting depicts a boy dressed in a red suit holding a staff with a hat held behind his back. His fitted jacket displays intricate frilled sleeves and collar. Surrounding the painting, is its original patinated Wood frame accented with gilt at the inner frame and wonderful patinated red scrolls at each corner.
