The Renaissance revival style painting in the manner of a Raphaelite Madonna and Child, of a seated young mother with a young child on her lap by a window overlooking a lake, picking up a flower from a vase, within gilt wood carved frame. Unsigned, circa 1860 Measure: Frame height 23 inches (58.4 cm) Frame width 20 inches (50.8 cm) Depth 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) Board height 15 3/4 inches (40 cm) Board width 12 3/4 inches (32.4 cm).
