From The Phil Rubin Estate, Riverside Drive, NYC. Mr. Rubin was a lifelong collector with a trained eye. Beginning with studies at Parson's school of design and followed by a long career in retail at Sloan's and B. Altman's, Mr. Rubin eventually became an interior designer for numerous affluent families and individuals. He enjoyed a lifetime of travel, where he collected objects from all over the world.
