About the Item
This is a large Lithograph of a Jockey with his Moon by Augusto Marin. It depicts a bright colored jockey riding a horse made of waving lines in a light royal blue and green background that represents the evening with the moon at the right side. The waving lines create a moving environment. The lithograph is signed Marin 99-03 in the left lower corner. It is mounted in a a silver metallic and blue color wood frame. Augusto Marin ( 1921 - 2011 ) was a Puerto Rican painter, sculptor and educator. He is recognized like one of the greatest Puerto Rican painters of the 20th century. His art works have been exposed in Germany, Mexico, Monaco, Puerto Rico and United States.
