This circa 1960's mid-century oil painting by Ulhmann, Germany exibits the uncertain times that even the strongest persons face as the unforgiving tumultous storms arrive in life. A sailboat is tied to the pier representing strength and fluidity contrasted with the ominous incoming storm. This dramatic painting can be a reminder of how strong ones inner resolve can be and that storms come but eventually subsist. This oil painting was previously apart of the Lucile Leigh Collection.
