About the Item

A Large oil on canvas painting of a ship in heavy seas. With a god frame and thick applied paint with some flaking and losses. Scribed on the rear of the painting has 'Alex Cromarty, May 1893.' Unsure if this is an original piece by the artist or a reproduction but its very much in the style of his works. Condition - Distressed
