About the Item
Mixed media on paper. This three dimensional work is in one way typical for Olle Bonnier with its space like motive. What's interesting is that it is made in three dimensions so that the vortex stands out from the painting. This gives the painting a very lively impression.
Olle Bonnier was born in 1925 in Los Angeles. He was educated at the Technical School and studied with Isaac Grünewald and made several study trips to Europe. Bonniér expressed himself non-figuratively and was interested in the dynamics of colors and shapes. He had his big breakthrough with the exhibition "Young art" at Färg och Form, where the radical youth of the time were united in an intellectual association that came to be known as "1947 years men".
Olle Bonniér is undoubtedly one of Sweden's foremost representatives of concretism. It is framed in plexiglass for protection.
