"Atlas" proposes a disruptive vision of the space-time concept, as a reflection between the ancestral and the comic, making us wander about the connection between both and the path to cross the intermediate space. Graphics and drawings belonging to a culture imagined between the past and the future.

To create this work we first painted the entire panel in the colour of the lines that make up the perspective. Subsequently, the grid of lines is taped and painted in the background of the painting. To compose the figures, we drew a grid and painted the images on vinyl, which we carefully cut by hand into two parts that will be the border and the background of the pieces. We place the vinyl on the wood, leaving the whole piece uncovered, and paint. Then we cover the border and paint again to create the coloured background of the piece. Each piece has 4 superimposed layers of paint. The finish is with acrylic varnish also in spray.

Las Animas
COLLECTIBLE FUNCTIONAL ART LAS ÁNIMAS (before: Antoñito y Manolín) are Trini Salamanca and Pablo Párraga, a creative duo founded and established in Seville, Spain. Their work has a strong symbolic, mystical, tribal and esoteric component, and moves on the frontiers between art and design. Using a language of minimalist, geometric and iterative patterns, they experiment with the materials, their forms and textures, to create an iconography of retrofuturist, transgressor, brutalist and deeply evocative aesthetics. The couple’s visual and emotional universe includes references as distant as science fiction, anthropology, the distortion of reality, cybernetics, duality, experimental electronic music, or architectural brutality; an imaginary that joins the elements of their social environment, recoding and projecting them from an atypical and personal insight. Their corpus includes limited edition pieces of furniture, sculptures, interventions and unique objects. TOTEMS, designed and created by themselves in their own studio, that challenge functionality and form; a symbolic Aesthetics dimension full of emotions that lead to a spiritual atmosphere lost in time.

Cecilia’s is working with all geometrical forms, lines and shadows.
Her style developed to be clean and sharp forms in different combinations.

Born in Sweden in 1954, Cecilia Setterdahl has always been painting from Swedish
inspiration. Studied ascetics in High School and then went on to the Technical University of Lulea and graduated as a teacher. Moved to Stockholm and studied
at the “Konstskolan” First exhibition 1988. Through a move to Neuchatel, Switzerland Cecilia continued her studies at the M-Art and Accademie Maximilien de Meuron. “Art Studio Bv5”, together with 4 other artists, she continued
to work until moving to Dubai in 2015. Several part exhibitions in Neuchatel, Lausanne, Geneva, Brussels, London, New York, Hong Kong and Sweden.
