About the Item

This amazing whimsical painting of a discus thrower is a coin filler. The artist, Pier Gustafson, thought it would be fun to replace Fountain Pens in place of human forms from Classic statuary. Framed in teak - this art was exhibited as part of the Boston Pen Fair in 1994, which was produced by the artist, Pier Gustafson. This was painted on a window shade vinyl fabric with acrylic paint.
