He wears a white fedora with a black rim which matches his white collar shirt. The background is a cheery pink which matches the flush of his cheeks. This piece is painted on board by artist Clair Seglem.
About the artist:
This piece is by the late Oklahoma artist and retired Air Force man Clair Seglem. Seglem painted into his 1990s before passing at his Oklahoma residence. He was known for his striking portraits and still life paintings.

Sourced from the estate of the late Oklahoma artist Clair Seglam. An airforce man for most of his life, Seglem only began painting after his retirement. Most known for his vibrant portraits and nudes, he completed a vast portfolio of work before he died in 2020.
