About the Item
For sale, is a vintage architectural Postmodern design illustration or 'visualisation', on board, of an Industrial Estate in Northolt, UK dating from 1990.
This unique airbrush and watercoloured work is signed in pencil by the artist, "Wendy Smith" and comes in its original mount, inscribed "Belvue Road, Northolt, 1990" in Letraset rub-down letters.
The artwork is in good vintage condition, with some very minor age-related marks on the illustration and has dented corners to the mount.
The illustration is being presented in its original mount, as this may be of social interest, though the work could benefit from a new mount or having the existing mount trimmed down. Either way, it's a fascinating record of a commercial/industrial building, of little architectural value and illustrated using a now outdated technique. The buildings have survived to this day and are still in use.
