A very large antiqued reproduction oil painting after
Charles Ferdinand Ceramano. Apty titled "Shepherd And His Flock On The Hill / bergeres et leur tropeau sur un colline " features an antiqued canvas.
The canvas is signed along the lower right "Milbury".

Charles Ferdinand Ceramano was born in 1831 in Tielt, Belgium. Lively depicted animal pieces were typical motifs and styles of the painter. Ceramano was a student in Eugène Verboeckhoven's studio in Brussels from 1849 and went to Barbizon in 1872 to work in the studio of Narcisso Virgilio Díaz de la Peña. In Barbizon and Paris he used his pseudonym "Ceramano" to paint landscapes with flocks of sheep and sheep in the stable.
