Original oil on canvas painting by Greg Parker. 18" x 24". Unframed. Painting portrays a trout jumping out of river. A fly-fisherman wades in the background as he wrestles with the fish on the end of his line. They are surrounded by steep mountain peaks and a lush forest.
Greg Parker has mastered the ability to capture the very essence of what he sees and experiences in an exceptional artistic capacity. Greg's ability to bring to canvas the moments seen through the human eye in such exceptional craftsmanship is one to be recognized. Early in his youth, he found himself especially interested in nature and read all he could about naturalists like John Muir who captured young Greg's imagination. Being an outdoorsman himself, Greg's studio in the beautiful Northwest part of the United States provides a setting in which often overlooked beauty Greg successfully captures and shares on canvas.
