P.L.M. poster by Roger Broders dated from 1927 to promote tourism at the Col du Grand Saint-Bernard, in the Swiss Alps.
You can see the Grand Saint-Bernard hospice on the Grand Saint-Bernard lake with the statue of Saint Bernard in the foreground. The sunset illuminates the snow-covered Grand Combin massif in the background, which faces Mont-Blanc.
Roger Broders is one of the most prolific poster designers of the 1930s: his work is inseparable from PLM, which commissioned more than a hundred posters between 1922 and 1932.
