Signed Victor Venner Golf Print, Addressing The Ball. Humorous golfing print by Victor Venner framed in period oak frame with non-reflective glass. Frame with title label "Addressing The Ball". Print signed by the artist bottom left hand corner, right hand corner 'No 39'. Publishing details:- Copyright Entered According to Act Of Congress In The Year 1903 By Richard Wyman In The Office Of The Librarian Of Congress At Washington. Copyright 1903, Published by Richard Wyman, 24 Bedford St. Strand, London, W.C. Berlin Stiefbold & Co. Frame size:- 55 cm high by 65½ cm wide. Victor Venner(1869 - 1913) painted at the turn of the 20th century, he was an English Illustrator and cartoonist. Born Edgar John Victor Venner and was renowned for his Humorous prints. His golfing prints include 'The Lucky Dog' & 'Addressing The ball' that were published in 1904. His other known golfing work appeared a few years later 'The Golfers Link'. He contributed to 'Punch' and was a member of the London Sketch Club.
