This engraving originates from a rare unknown Dutch work, potentially a Dutch edition or a work that utilized plates from the famous German series 'Bilderbuch für Kinder' (Picture Book for Children) by F.J. Bertuch, published between 1790-1830 in Weimar. The plate titles are in Dutch. - Artists and Engravers: - Friedrich Johann Justin Bertuch (1747-1822), a German publisher and patron of the arts. - Most plates engraved by Lehman fec. - Condition: Excellent for its age, with general age-related toning and light staining.
