Antique print titled 'Costumes de chefs Papouas du Havre Dory - 220, Papouasie'. Costumes of the Papua chiefs of Dory harbour (New Guinea), focusing on their head and upper body. This print originates from M.G.L. Domeny de Rienzi's 'Oceanie, ou Cinquieme Partie du Monde', published in 1836 by Firmin Didot of Paris. Artists and Engravers: Made by Mariage after Danvin. Condition: Very good, given age. Occasional minor stains in the margins. Some scattered foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study image carefully.
