About the Item

Antique print of the landing of Prince of Orange, William III, at Torbay. William Prince of Orange (afterwards King William III) landed in Brixham on 5 November 1688, during the Glorious Revolution, and issued his famous declaration ""The Liberties of England and The Protestant Religion I Will Maintain"". Source unknown, to be determined. Artists and Engravers: Anonymous. Condition: Good, general age-related toning. Minor wear, mainly in margins. Blank verso, please study image carefully. Date: c.1860 Overall size: 27.5 x 21 cm. Image size: 25 x 18 cm.
