This print originates from Prevost's 'Histoire Generale des Voyages'. Artists and Engravers: Engraved by J. van der Schley. Jakob van der Schley (Amsterdam 1715-1779) was a Dutch draughtsman and engraver. He studied under Bernard Picart and became heavily influenced by his style Condition: Very good, given age. Some soiling of the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study image carefully. Date: 1749 Overall size: 19.5 x 25.5 cm.
