Depictions include the crane-footed proboscis mite (Fig. 1), juggler water spider (Fig. 2), claw-footed mite (Fig. 3), pigeon saw mite (Fig. 4), red-yellow crane foot (Fig. 5), parasite claw carrier (Fig. 6), two-segmented flea mite (Fig. 7), sturgeon claw mouth (Fig. 8), and dolphin skipper (Fig. 9). Part of Friedrich Johann Bertuch's celebrated "Bilderbuch für Kinder," this engraving combines scientific precision with artistic beauty, showcasing the diversity of arachnids and their unique forms. Condition: The print is in good condition with vibrant hand-coloring and sharp engraving lines. Minor age-toning and a few spots of foxing are present but do not detract from its overall appeal.
