About the Item
Taken after “La Botanique Mise a la Portee de Tout le Monde”, originally published in Paris 1774-1780, written by Nicolas Francois Regnault and illustrated by his wife, Genevieve de Nangis-Regnault. Copper plate etching includes a description of each plant and their use for medicinal and cuisine purposes.
The bookplates are presented surmounted on mats within carved and gilt finished frames and glazed.

Condition: Please see detail photos. Signs of age include acid burnt around the perimeter of the page, overall fine presentation with minor blemishes to frames.
