Antique print titled 'A true Representation of sveral microscopes with some objects (..)'. Print of various microscopes, illustrating several microscope parts. This print originates from 'The Universal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure'. The Universal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure was a periodical published in London in the period 1747–1814 by John Hinton and W. Bent. Condition: Good, general age-related toning. Original folding lines, some wear. Blank verso, please study image carefully. Date: 1749 Overall size: 25.5 x 21 cm. Image size: 25 x 18.5 cm. Antique prints have long been appreciated for both their aesthetic and investment value. They were the product of engraved, etched or lithographed plates.
