Hand Carved Wood Walnut Panettiere Cupboard Wall mount Cabinet Rustic Bread Box . High End Chateau 18th century exquisite Louis XV Panettiere Originally used to store French baguettes or long loaves of bread, were meant to sit on a Petrin (dough chest) but eventually grew into elaborate decorative pieces which hung on the wall. Refined Carved wood with a door panel include A Basket of fruits and wheat.
This piece rests on scrolled cabriole feet, but is also mounted to hang on a wall. Decorated with rare long key plates and hinges and spindle bars. The wall cabinet is in excellent condition with its original hardware and key, and adorns a rich walnut patina.

Solidly constructed and elegant proportion reflecting the quality craftsmanship . It could be used in as a showcase in a living room with some beautiful garniture on top of it. Signs of the centuries are apparent with the use and the elements as seen in the pictures, with minor losses General marks, nicks, scratches, fading, rubbing etc .. loss of small finial to one of the hinges, But overall good condition.
