Heavy Item -- Professional Installation
This floating organic wood, metal, and glass floor shelf is a statement in itself due to its size and metallic finish. The foundation of this piece is made of wood, with a pearlescent finish. The artistry is elevated by the use of stamped aluminum and painted motifs on the front, to resemble contemporary stained glass. The overall look of the shelf is ribbon-like; it would look great in a space that allows it to flow freely.

In-depth description:
The case piece undulates from top to bottom and the base stands away from wall about 22 inches. The top left and right front corners show slight rubbing of the paint (but not enough to take full notice of); this is shown in images 4 and 6. The stamped metal balances well with the pearlescent motifs--which are applied impeccably (clear coat keeps the colors true). Images 8-10 show the back of the piece. The glass is removable, is inset about 5 inches, and is stabilized by multiple pieces of wood.
The piece is weighty and balances well on its own, but should be anchored to the studs.
