Art Deco Theatre Painted Tapestry Panels, Set of Five

About

These fantastic stylized panels once adorned the walls of a 1930s British theatre. The artist used a modern, cubist approach to depicting the King Arthur legends in the five panelled works. The hand painted fabric panels are set into finished wooden frames, of similar sizes. The tallest panel is 85 inches, and the others are within inches of each other. There is overall fading of age, and a few splits in the fabric, primarily in the widest centre panel.
