This exquisite 20th century tapestry in polychrome wools designed by René Perrot and woven at Atelier Rivière des Borderies in Aubusson captures the serene beauty of two exotic birds amidst a lush, flourishing landscape. The delicate interplay of color and texture evokes a sense of nature’s untamed elegance. Signed "Perrot" in the weft on the lower left, with the factory logo at the lower right, it is dated 1956 on a bolduc on the reverse. A rare and captivating piece, where artistry and nature converge in timeless harmony. It is found in excellent condition.
