About the Item

Pair 19th century hand-carved Corbels ~ Drapery Rod Holders are ideal to use as corbels flanking a cased opening, or framing a window, with a rod between, creating plenty of space for sheers or other intermediary window covering. The design features acanthus plumes pierce-carved from the bottom scroll and curving up and outwards towards the rod guides. Bell flowers extend below the scrolls at the bottom for added stylistic flair. Circa 1880s Sold as a Pair. Each measures 24 H x 3 W x 16 D.
