About the Item
Decorate an entry wall or living room with this elegant pair of antique brackets. Crafted in Southern France, circa 1860, each fruitwood wall corbel features cabriole legs decorated with acanthus leaves at the shoulders and ending with carved shell motif. The shaped and bombe top has a flat surface to accommodate a vase or a bust. These large wall brackets exhibit wonderful craftsmanship; they are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich walnut patina.
