About the Item

Magnificent 19th century six panel wallpaper screen by Zuber and Cie. The screen features six hand blocked wallpaper panels from "Le Paysage a Chasses" or the hunting landscape numbers 1, 2, 3, 30, 31, 32. The panoramic scenery is bordered by a trompe l'oeil gilt carved frame with a faux-black marble painted bottom. Still in production today and classified as historical pieces made from the antique woodblocks at Zuber in France. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. The screen has an aged patina full of character and charm with vivid colors and losses as seen in photos.
