About the Item
Very good to excellent condition with age and type considered. There are very slight rim chips in the painting, but not so much visible to the naked eye as evidenced in our very enlarged photos and scans. Certainly not detractions and minimal with type and age. The paintings are each fascinating and so well preserved. Hinge of the silver mounting are tight, well fitted and working perfectly. Smooth closure. No warping. A truly magnificent and VERY rare find, indeed!
