About the Item
This delicate Tea Twig Chainka pendant is a unique piece of jewelry designed by artist Polya Medvedeva, and it is the first piece in her "Tiny Pieces" collection. The design was inspired by a tea ceremony where a small young tea leaf fell into the artist's cup. The word "Chainka" refers to the tiny tea leaves and twigs found in tea cups, sometimes only 1 mm in size. The artist preserved the Chainka in a book of poems and later reproduced it in 14 karat yellow gold, as the silver is too soft to maintain the twig's delicate shape.
Despite its small size, this pendant catches the eye with its unusual and delicate appearance, and it was featured in a printed issue of Vogue UA magazine. It can be worn on a chain as a pendant or on a bracelet as a charm, and is available in 14 or 18 karat rose, yellow, black, or white gold.
