FRENCH 1930 Art Deco Geometric Precious Wood Bracelet In Gilt And Sterling

About the Item

A French geometric art deco bracelet with precious wood. This is a rare statement bracelet created in Paris France during the art deco period, back in the 1930. The unusual bracelet has been crafted with naive patterns such a kind of prototype with parts in sterling silver, 18 karats gilt brass and polished copper. The bracelet is composed by four links which are mounted by screws with four fancy elements, specially carved from precious sandal wood. It is fitted with a concealed twisted pin as a closure lock and when closed for wear, it forms a kind of square with a padded shape. Country: Paris, France Period: Art Deco, 1930. Materials: Sandal-wood, 18kt gilt bronze, sterling and copper. Weight: 91.20 Grams, (58.48 Dwt). Length: 7.5 Inches, (19 Cm.). Measurements: The width is 29 mm and the height is 12 mm (1.14 x 0.47 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and signed as follows, "MADE IN FRANCE DEPOSE". Collateral: This French bracelet is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of French Art-Deco bracelet is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All parts are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
