Important Certified Imperial Red Jade & Diamond Stud Earrings, Collector's Item
About the Item
Please check out the HD video. This is a very special pair of earrings. Made with the best imperial RED (the actual color is a brownish- red but in the jade trade, they are referred to as red jade) jade cabochons. They GLOW! The jades in these earrings are certified to be natural jadeite jade by 2 labs. It is set in 18k white gold. There are 2 imperial red jade cabochons around 10.5mm each and around 16mm in diameter with the rose cut diamond halo. There are also 0.443cts of new rose cut white diamonds in the setting. This pair of jade earrings are made with best of the best red color with high degree of translucency. In the trade we call this imperial jade! The Jades are very noticeable, it glows! The icy imperial red jade is simple and classic showing off its natural beauty. The color really pops. You can see these earrings from far far away! The untreated / un-enhanced natural jade cabs are well polished showing off its highly sort after imperial red color. Photos do not do these earrings justice. IMPERIAL JADE
The term “imperial jade” is often misused in many jade sale listings because true imperial jade is extremely rare and expensive.
True imperial jade must have BOTH a strong saturation of color (green, red, etc) AND a high degree of translucency. Natural Material meeting both of these conditions is very uncommon and hardly seen. Color saturation and translucency are indirectly proportional. Material with a stronger saturation of color is more dense and less translucent. The opposite holds true as well.
