A pendant with an ancient Roman coin. Beautiful classic pendant crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and fitted with a bale to display in a chain. Mounted with a genuine Silver denarius coin from the ancient Roman period of the Emperor Lucius Septimius Severus AD. 193-211. Obverse Description: The bearded portrait of the emperor Septimius Severus facing to the right crowned with laurels and the legend around: L SEPT SEV AVG IMP XI PART MAX. Reverse description: The seated enthroned figure of Jupiter half draped, to the left, holding with the right hand the nike victory and with left hand a scepter, legend IOVI CONSERVATORI, Diamonds: Mount with a pave setting of 10 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.30 carats, white colorless F/G c0lor, VS-2 clarity Weight: 12.5 Grams, (8.01 Dwt). Measurements: 35 mm by 27 mm (1.38 x 1.06 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and the gold assay mark, Literature: NGC i81161, RIC IV-1 34. Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this coin pendant is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold.
