This stunning piece is a 1950s vintage rhinestone bib necklace, showcasing the dramatic flair and elegance typical of mid-century costume jewelry. It is a striking example of the glamorous costume jewelry popular in post-war fashion and Hollywood inspired glamour. Designed in a dramatic collar shape, the necklace features a dazzling array of light blue rhinestones and clear with white givre marquise-cut stones, intricately set in a silver tone metal framework. The marquise givre stones a clear with flashes of white inside. The piece has four pointed sections that cascade downward each accented with pear teardrop rhinestones. Double rows of round rhinestones line the neckline for extra sparkle and symmetry. Perfect for evening wear or as a collector’s statement piece. The necklace has a wearable length of 14.5 to 15 inches with a 4 inch drop in front. The bib is approximately 6 inches wide. Very very good condition.
