A fine and impressive antique French enamel and 18 karat yellow gold pendant; part of our diverse estate jewelry and Edwardian jewellery collections. This fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18k gold. The French pendant displays a central collet set oval enamel panel displaying the profile of a lady in vibrant white, yellow and pink clothing, against a royal blue background. This central enamel panel is surrounded by a pierced decorated gold frame, accented with simplified floral and foliate designs. The pendant is signed to the reverse with the maker's mark 'Le Pémen, Limoges'. This Edwardian enamel and gold pendant suspends from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 45.72cm/18' curb chain via an integrated ring loop attachment, and secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This French pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. Images do not always reflect the true colour of enamel decoration. The oval pendant has a central vase and floriated spray design, embellished with twenty-six silver set Old Dutch cut diamonds. The French pendant displays a central oval shaped enamel panel which features the profile of a lady in vibrant metallic blue, white and yellow clothing, against a red background. This central enamel panel is surrounded by an unembellished 18k yellow gold frame. The central setting is surrounded by a completely separate unembellished halo design. The enamel panel is secured in place within the halo design with eight evenly placed supports. The pendant is signed to the reverse with the maker's mark 'Bardonnaud, Limoges'. Locket pendant in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark. A collector's item, this opening antique pendant is oval in shape and adorned on the front with an enameled motif depicting a young woman in a setting and dress set with rose-cut diamonds. The back is smooth. A hinge on the side opens the antique jewel, which has 2 compartments inside to hold a souvenir, a photo, a lock of hair... Height : 4.3 cm approximately, width : 2.4 cm approximately, thickness : 9.4 mm approximately. Total weight of the jewel : 8,7 g approximately. Pendant sold alone, without its presentation chain. Authentic antique jewel - French work from the second end the 19th century. Missing enamel and tiny rose-cut diamonds: cannot be restored. Barely visible to the naked eye.
