Antique French Enamel and 18k Yellow Gold Pendant Circa 1910

A fine and impressive antique French enamel and 18 karat yellow gold pendant; part of our diverse estate jewelry and Edwardian jewellery collections. This fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18k gold. The French pendant displays a central collet set oval enamel panel displaying the profile of a lady in vibrant white, yellow and pink clothing, against a royal blue background. This central enamel panel is surrounded by a pierced decorated gold frame, accented with simplified floral and foliate designs. The pendant is signed to the reverse with the maker's mark 'Le Pémen, Limoges'. This Edwardian enamel and gold pendant suspends from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 45.72cm/18' curb chain via an integrated ring loop attachment, and secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This French pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. Images do not always reflect the true colour of enamel decoration. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian 0.03 carat and enamel, 18 karat yellow gold pendant/locket; part of our Victorian jewelry collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique locket has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The locket has an impressive rectangular shield-shaped form, surmounted with impressive scrolling leaf decoration. The anterior surface of the locket is embellished with a stunning and vibrant hand-painted miniature portrait depicting a Victorian woman with a floral headdress. The enamel portrait is ornamented with three impressive Dutch cut diamonds; two set to the floral headdress and one to the womans ribbon necklace. The exceptional enamel portrait is encompassed with yellow gold textured decoration, further ornamented with a paralleling black enamel scalloped border. The reverse of this Victorian locket is embellished to the center with an inescutcheon bearing the contemporary engraved initial 'S', encompassed with with further engraved foliate and simplified borders. This hinged locket opens to reveal two windows, allowing for a personal memento to be stored within. The pendant displays a central pierced decorated interlacing oval design ornamented with impressive hot enamel decoration, incorporating blue and green graduating tones. This antique enamel pendant suspends from a 14ct yellow gold chain via two ring loops to the apex of the frame, and secures to the reverse with a conventional ring bolt clasp fastening. The reverse surface of the Art Nouveau pendant is embellished with the contemporary engraved inscription 'To E.M.T. from W.E.F. 1st June 1910'.
