An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian 0.03 carat and enamel, 18 karat yellow gold pendant/locket; part of our Victorian jewelry collections. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique locket has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The locket has an impressive rectangular shield-shaped form, surmounted with impressive scrolling leaf decoration. The anterior surface of the locket is embellished with a stunning and vibrant hand-painted miniature portrait depicting a Victorian woman with a floral headdress. The enamel portrait is ornamented with three impressive Dutch cut diamonds; two set to the floral headdress and one to the womans ribbon necklace. The exceptional enamel portrait is encompassed with yellow gold textured decoration, further ornamented with a paralleling black enamel scalloped border. The reverse of this Victorian locket is embellished to the center with an inescutcheon bearing the contemporary engraved initial 'S', encompassed with with further engraved foliate and simplified borders. This hinged locket opens to reveal two windows, allowing for a personal memento to be stored within. A stunning, fine and impressive antique 6 carat amethyst, pearl and 18 karat yellow and white gold cross pendant; part of our antique jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with 18k white gold settings. The impressive cross pendant is embellished with twelve impressive square faceted cut amethysts, totalling 6cts; these yellow gold set amethysts comprise the cross bars. Each crossbar terminal of this amethyst cross pendant in gold is ornamented with a scrolling white gold design ornamented with an impressive seed pearl and two pavé set Old European cut diamonds. The pendant suspends from an 18' 18k white gold curb chain via a plain ring loop attachment. This antique amethyst pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. This impressive example of Victorian jewellery is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.
