Brusca - Dante Sterling Silver Heart Pendant from 1975
About the Item
Modernist design sterling silver heart pendant by New York City jewelry design team Jack Brusca and Joseph Dante in 1975. The pendant is 2 inches wide, 1.75 inches high and .75 of an inch deep in cast sterling silver. It is shown on and included with a new brown silk twist cord. Jack Brusca (1937 - 1993) was an accomplished painter and designer in addition to jewelry designer with partner Joseph Dante in the 1970s and 80s. This pendant was part of a personal collection of their friend and executive Margot Rogoff (American, 1935-2018). She was a former spokeswoman and director of public relations for Bloomingdale’s. In fact, it is inscribed on the back with the company name Brusca Dante, sterling, copyright C in a circle and 1975. The pendant weighs 54 grams.
