Indulge in an exceedingly rare antique Art Deco to Victorian Egyptian Revival Locket Pendant Necklace with a fabulous three dimensional image of an Obelisk with Egyptian Hieroglyphics. The locket hangs from a wonderful mesh chain link necklace. The locket and necklace are gold filled and date to circa 1860-1920. The locket has a fabulous image of an obelisk. The obelisk is three dimensional and is covered with Egyptian Hieroglyphics. The background is a wonderful engraved design. Egyptian Revival lockets are extremely rare and this one with the image of the obelisk is just incredible. The locket opens to hold two of your treasured photos or mementos and the perspex covering is present on one side.

With the discoveries of Egyptian tombs, and the treasures within, in the 19th and early 20th centuries, the exotically opulent lives of the Pharaohs were beyond anyone’s imagination.
