Rare 13 Carats Opal Diamonds ca. 1.5 Carats South Sea Harlekin Pearl Collier
About the Item
This mesmerizing, Australian opal pendant is handmade in solid 18k yellow gold and surrounded by high-class natural brilliant-cut diamonds.
The large white crystal Opal weighs in at 13 ct, with a truly superb play of color.
The measurements of the opal are following:
1.8 cm x 2.4 cm x 0.5cm
An abundance of red fire mixed with all the colors of the rainbow and also blue. With blue and red being on the opposite sides of the color spectra, it is a very rare occurrence in opal.
Fire can be seen from all angles, regardless where the light source is.
With its large size, high clarity and highly sought-after combination of red and blue, this crystal Opal is a true investment piece that can also be worn.
The evenly colored white opal body is clearly translucent with no imperfections or flaws, making it a true investment Opal.
The opal does show a strong long-wave UV reaction and also a strong green phosphorescence, which not only proves the origin of the stone but also the superb arrangement of silica spheres inside the natural, earth-mined opal.
30 natural, brilliant-cut diamonds with an absolutely amazing sparkle surround the opal. Each diamond has a diameter of around 2.2mm. A total of ca. 1.5 - 1.7 carats. Cut, clarity and color are of very high quality.
The measurements of the pendant are the following:
3cm × 2cm x 1.4cm.
The sleek pendant design features a "bayonet " mechanism, setting it apart from regular "loop hole" pendant bails.
The opal pendant is provided with an adapter to also wear it vertical (gold chain on picture is not included!).
The string of 31 south sea harlekin pearls of 12.4-14.3 mm / with superb lustre complements the fierce fire of the opal.
To wear the pearls separately, an extra pearl is provided as a bajonette closure.
Additional chains can be made to fit this mechanism.
