About the Item

Early 20th Century
Charles-Henri Meylan is a storied name in the field of fine watchmaking, connected with Patek Philippe, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Audemers Piguet, H. Moser & Cie and Van Cleef & Arpels. In 2008, his Henry Graves Supercomplication set a record for the most expensive American watch when it was sold at Sotheby's for $266,500 ($50,000-70,000). The largest currently known collection of C.H. Meylan watches, over 200 pieces, is owned by Georges-Henry Meylan, a distant relative of Charles-Henri. Georges-Henri led Audemars Piguet for over two decades and is the Chairman of MELB Holdings, which owns H. Moser & Cie.

Located in New York, NY
Fabulous, multi-faceted jewel which may be worn as a pendant on a diamond Riviera necklace, a wide torque style necklace or suspended from a more delicate chain when turned 360 degrees, as a clip brooch, as a large stunning ring when clipped to a wide band, even as a hair ornament. Clip brooches of the Art Deco period were designed to be transformable, facilitating use in a variety of interesting ways.
The asymmetrical swirl design suggests movement and complements the flow of high quality multi-cut diamonds and rubies.
