About the Item

The 1 3/4” x 4” sunface and feather is on a 19” solid and link chain. The feather has a Kingman turquoise stone. The sunface and feather can be removed to wear as a pin. About the artist: Nelson Morgan Diné, Navajo Nation Born in 1962, Navajo silversmith Nelson Morgan learned the art of silversmithing from his parents, David and Dorothy Morgan. He has been designing beautiful Navajo overlay jewelry for over 30 years. Nelson is a diverse Navajo silversmith specializing in stone setting and inlay jewelry. He is primarily known for his intricate Kachina designs: Sunface, Mud Head, Eagle, etc. Nelson is one of the most well-known kachina character jewelry artists in the southwest today.
