INDULGE IN A STUNNING ANTIQUE SIBERIAN AMETHYST VICTORIAN ETRUSCAN REVIVAL 14 KARAT GOLD PENDANT NECKLACE WITH THREE PEAR SHAPE SIBERIAN AMETHYST DROPS, A PEARL AND EXQUISITE BEADED CANNETILLE GOLD WORK.
The exquisite early Victorian necklace has three faceted pear shape natural Siberian amethyst drops with finely decorated Etruscan bead and rope work accent surmounts of extraordinary detail. Atop the central drop is a baroque pearl set in the scrolling surmount. The amethysts are the most gorgeous vibrant royal purple color and cut. The Etruscan gold work is magnificent. The necklace is 14 Karat Gold with a higher carat gold wash as was typical of the period.
This is one of the most beautiful antique Victorian necklaces we have seen and Etruscan Revival jewels are rare and are all the rage today. The quality of the very fine Etruscan micro designed rope work designs is museum quality. The very fine purple Siberian amethyst gems are of the highest quality. The necklace embodies classic timeless elegance.
The Etruscan jewels are characterized by exquisite micro beading and granulation creating magnificent and detailed designs in gold. This necklace is a masterpiece of the technique with its extraordinary gold work .
