THIS IS A STUNNING ANTIQUE VICTORIAN - ART NOUVEAU - BELLE EPOQUE NECKLACE WITH THE MOST GORGEOUS NATURAL PEAR SHAPE, OVAL AND ROUND FACETED SIBERIAN AMETHYST GEMS. THE AMETHYSTS ARE SET IN A WONDERFUL CLOVER FLOWER MOTIF PENDANT WITH A PEAR SHAPE DROP ADORNED WITH PEARLS IN 14 KARAT YELLOW GOLD.
This antique pendant necklace is such a lovely and romantic jewel. The necklace hangs beautifully around the neck. This necklace has such fabulous movement with the dangling pear shape amethyst hanging from the knife edge curved bar set with seed pearls. The lovely amethysts are set in scalloped collets to great effect. The three leaf clover flower designs between the amethysts are such a sweet and romantic touch to the necklace.
Worn during the day the amethyst has the power to heal, according to Tony Duquette. When worn in moonlight it has the power to bring dexterity, bravery and honor.
The color of the amethysts in the necklace is an exquisite royal purple.
The design is full of the delicate romance of the age. The necklace is a stunning jewel from The Gilded Age.
