THIS IS A STUNNING VICTORIAN - ART NOUVEAU - BELLE EPOQUE NECKLACE WITH THE MOST GORGEOUS NATURAL ROUND FACETED SIBERIAN AMETHYST GEMS SET IN A WONDERFUL PENDANT DROP DESIGN WITH NATURAL PEARLS IN 14 KARAT GOLD.
This antique pendant necklace is such a lovely and romantic jewel. The necklace hangs beautifully around the neck. This necklace has such fabulous movement with the dangling natural pearls hanging from the stations of round faceted purple amethysts.
The color of the Amethysts is a vivid royal purple.
The design is full of the delicate romance of the age and is so special with the amethysts and natural pearl drops which are all the rage today. The necklace is a stunning jewel from The Gilded Age.
The necklace dates to circa 1880-1910.
The necklace is 15 inches (38 cm) long. The central portion hangs down 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm). The necklace could be easily extended by your jeweler if desired.
