About the Item
A wonderful vintage Victorian Art Nouveau Style 9ct gold foliate pendant necklace set with amethyst with a lavalier drop. This exquisite pendant has a very large central amethyst measuring 12mm x 8.6mm surrounded by a beautiful gold floral garland on each side with two amethysts designed in a shape of the flowers. The pendant comes with a chain and it will be packed in a branded gift box.
Amethysts are commonly associated with royalty thanks to its purple colour and they have been used to symbolize deep love, happiness, humility, sincerity, and wealth for centuries.
The pendant is fully hallmarked on the back for 9ct gold, Birmingham 1975 and 1998.
