A fine vintage Chinese gold & jade pendant.
In 14k yellow gold and white jade (nephrite).
From "new" old stock from a jewelry store that closed in the 1970s.
Consisting of a white jadeite circle set with the Chinese character for double happiness (囍, shuāngxǐ) in gold to the center. This symbol is most commonly associated with weddings & love in Chinese culture.
With a gold bail to the top.
Simply a wonderful pendant!
