THIS IS A SUPERB CHARMING ANTIQUE AUSTRIAN VIENNA BRONZE OF A CAT OR KITTEN LISTENING ON TWO BELL TELEPHONES. This wonderful antique Austrian Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze) dates to circa 1900-1920. The bronze is very possibly made by Bergmann although it is not signed. It features the most wonderful cat or kitten holding two Bell telephones to its ears. The imagery is absolutely fabulous and oh so charming. The expression on the cat's face as it hears the news is wonderful. The cat has lovely striped fur, a wonderful face and whiskers. The cat is 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) tall and 1 1/2 inches (4 cm) wide. The bronze is solid.
